Since eggs do many different things in recipes, there is not just standard method for replacing eggs that will work in every recipe. I've made thousands of test batches to find the easiest way to replace eggs for almost every common recipe that contains eggs. The recipes in The Egg-Free Cookbook are easy to make and produce results that look and taste just standard recipes where eggs are used. My kids had to approve every one of them! I hope this book will help you start enjoying mealtime again.

Multiple Food Allergy Guide: Here is a breakdown of  how many recipes in the cookbook include other common allergens: Corn: 94% are free of corn or can be made corn-free by when arrowroot powder is used instead of cornstarch; Nuts: 96% are nut-free when the nuts listed as optional are omitted; Dairy: 70% are dairy-free or can be made dairy-free by substituting out just butter &/or milk; Wheat & Gluten: 54% of the recipes do not contain wheat or gluten (including pies & quiche if a gluten-free crust is used or the crust is eliminated). Suggestions for making additional substitutions for these allergens are included in the instructions section of the book, but all possible substitutions have not been tested.

French Silk Pie is Back at Our House!!

As a mom of a child with an egg allergy, I was happy to find some recipes for things I've been missing. We have enjoyed the Carrot Cake, French Toast, and Bread Bear. Our favorite was the French Silk Pie!! When I was a child, I always requested a French Silk Pie from a restaurant instead of a birthday cake. It was wonderful to be able to share this memory and tasty desert with my son! I can't wait to try more recpies from this useful cookbook!

A great cookbook for those who are unable to eat eggs.

I ordered this for my sister, as her granddaughter is allergic to eggs. My sister mentioned she wanted to be able to cook for her, and with her without eggs but was finding if difficult to find recipes. She was happy with the recipes, there were many old family favorites.. such as brownies and snicker doodles.. not to mention other non dessert recipes. The recipes were all simple, not too many ingredients and no special items. This was a good purchase.

Answer for "family" dinners

I really needed a way to cook egg-free for one member of my family when they come home for a visit. Of course I want to make the same recipe for everyone so no-one is "left out". This easy to use cookbook has so many of my old favorites (but now without needing the eggs.) Now I can make favorites for the whole gang. Love this book!
