Ed Novak introduces MEET ME AT THE NET with a curious caveat, almost an apology that his entertaining and eye-opening book about steelheading isn't set in the heart of native steelhead country, i.e, Canada and the Pacific Northwest. There is no need to apologize for this energetic, well-written look at steelhead fishing as it should be ... streams choked with fish and their fishers, and society and the environment entertaining each other as a result of a vibrant and forward-looking, multi-state hatchery program. I especially appreciate his keen understanding and use of human nature in vignette after vignette of life and the human spirit on, in, over - and occasionally under - the stream. About the Author
Ed Novak has been published in professional journals in his field of psychotherapy, and has served on the editorial review board of an international professional journal. It's therefore no surprise that his writing style emphasizes and explores the interpersonal experiences of fishing.

Meet Me At The Net

After reading the reviews on the back cover, I wondered if Mr. Novak paid these people to write them! Once I started reading, I couldn't put the book down! It is a fast read, with great stories that remind me of the wonderful times I have spent on Steel Head Alley. You have captured my attention, I hope you have another book on the way! Highly recommend to anyone that fishes!

Great Book!

This book captures the essence of why we, as fisherman, do what we do. It is a very entertaining account of Mr. Novak (and friends) steelhead fishing adventures throughout steelhead alley. It is well written, witty and really makes you feel like fishing for steelhead in Lake Erie's tributaries. It is the most entertaining fishing book that I have ever read! Move over John Nagy!

Incredible steelheading book

I bought this book for my husband, who is a steelhead fisherman. He didn't put it down until he had read it from cover to cover. In fact, I think he has read it several times by now. This is a must-buy for anyone who fishes for steelhead.
